Leier FIX universal construction adhesive foam

LeierFIX is a one-component modified polyurethane foam that hardens under the influence of moisture. It is used to create a glued joint in the construction of walls made of LeierPLAN ceramic ground bricks.

Packaging: Bottle volume 750 ml.

The use: LeierFIX glue is applied using an application gun to the laying surfaces of the brick. The surface must be dry and cleaned (free from dust, grease and other separating substances). Before use, it is necessary to shake the bottle strongly and then screw it onto the application gun. The amount of extruded foam is adjusted on the application gun by means of a dosing tab and an adjustment screw. A discharge tip with a diameter of 10 mm is fitted to the tip of the application gun. The foam is applied in one or two strips, approx. 3 cm in diameter. Up to a masonry thickness of 140 mm inclusive, one strip is applied in the middle of the masonry. For thicker masonry, two strips of foam are applied approx. 60 mm from its edges. After applying the foam, it is necessary to set the bricks immediately without having to move them after setting. If the brick is moved or lifted, it is necessary to apply the foam again. The air temperature during bricklaying with LeierFIX glue must not fall below -5 °C. If the air temperature is lower than + 5 °C, it is necessary to temper the packages with LeierFIX glue in order to achieve the required strength of the joint and also to comply with the declared foam yield.

Important: Universal adhesive foam LeierFIX is not a thermal insulation material and does not serve as a sealant! Before applying the foam itself, it is necessary to carry out a test!
